Hexagon Initiative Co-Founder Wins at Tallgrass Film Festival, Twice

With two independent features in competition at the 14th annual Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, KS, Hexagon Initiative Co-Founder Noah Lang walked away with an award apiece for his films HERE ALONE and DIVERGE.

"Tallgrass runs a top notch festival grounded in a real sense of community and support of the arts." said producer Noah Lang.

He added, "The festival's motto is 'Stubbornly Independent' and both HERE ALONE and DIVERGE exemplify that philosophy. Couldn't be more proud to bring home these awards to my collaborators."

HERE ALONE took home the Outstanding Female Actor Prize for the film's star Lucy Walters (Starz' POWER, SHAME, THE BRASS TEAPOT). The film premiered at Tribeca this past spring where it won the Audience Award. It has since played festivals all over the world including Sitges, FrightFest, Woods Hole and Traverse City. Vertical Entertainment will theatrically release the film in 2017.

DIVERGE was awarded the Best Cinematography Award. The film premiered simultaneously at Art of Brooklyn, Little Rock, and FilmQuest. It has since toured all over the country with further screenings at FilmColumbia, Lund International, Charlotte, Indie Street, and more lined up. Noah is negotiating a distribution deal to be announced in the coming months.
