Band of Robbers Out Now

A little over a year and a half ago, Evan Wolf Buxbaum and Noah Lang (both Hexagon Founders) got a call at a film festival in Paris that they took in a basement screening room, not knowing where it would lead. As it turned out, that was the beginning of their involvement in "Band of Robbers", which they helped capitalize and which Noah was on set for during production.

"I love this movie," Evan says. "It is so well made, from script, to casting, visually - it's everything I love about adventure and comedy films all rolled into one. It's unique, it's edgy, it's just a really satisfying film to watch. It's heartfelt, it's super funny, and the performances are wonderful. That's what attracted Noah and I to it from the start - and the filmmakers just nailed it all around in the execution".

The film is a modern day retelling of the Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn story, following a band of misfits in and around Los Angeles as they search for a long lost buried treasure hidden by a sinister outlaw.

The film was released theatrically in early 2016, and will be coming to Netflix streaming in the near future.  You can watch it here now.
