Jaclyn Gramigna

Jaclyn is an award winning film and theater director who uses humor to push boundaries and social consciousness. Since graduating from NYU [with a degree in Film & Television Production], she has directed upwards of 16 short form projects, which have screened in a variety of film festivals. Two plays that Jaclyn directed won first place in theater festivals and she has since had the opportunity to collaborate with playwrights to adapt 3 plays into films.

In 2013 she was highlighted as an "emerging filmmaker to watch" in Miramax's blog and in 2016 she was the keynote speaker at the Visions Film Festival & Conference. Gramigna currently freelances, producing and directing branded content and interactive audio experiences but plans to shoot her debut feature film, an unconventional thriller, in 2018.

She is a proud member of the FilmmakeHers, a co-leader of The Filmshop and is an activist for underrepresented voices in film.
