Ross O'Connor

Ross O'Connor is an award-winning independent filmmaker who has produced commercial and branded content for corporate clients such as American Express, ESPN, Wall Street Journal, Fox Sports NFL, Vans, and more. 

Currently, Ross is a Producer on ESPN+'s The Boardroom. Executive produced by Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman, The Boardroom brings fans inside the business of sports, featuring real-time conversations with athletes and executives about what's really changing the game.

In film, Ross cut his teeth as an Associate Producer on Amir Bar-Lev's Long Strange Trip: The Untold Story of the Grateful Dead.  The film premiered at Sundance 2017 and sold to Amazon Prime, where it streams as a six-part docu-series.  The film has been 100% on Rotten Tomatoes since it’s premiere in 2017.

He has since has produced several feature-length and short films.  He is the Producer on Minor Premise, an elevated science-fiction feature due out in 2020.  He co-produced produced Rashaad Green's Premature, which was nominated for two Indie Spirit Awards, including the Cassavettes Award.  Ross has also served as production manager on the documentary Red, White, and Wasted, and worked for a few days on The Climb (2019).

Prior to his career in film, Ross worked as an investment banker at Barclays.  He graduated from Colby College with a BA in English.
