Kaliya Warren
Kaliya Warren is an award-winning director, and a member of Brooklyn commercial production company Illium Pictures. Warren directs branded content for clients including Delta Air Lines, PepsiCo, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, her short The Grown-Ups garnered several top awards at NYU. The film was nominated for a National Board of Review award, and was an official selection of HBO’s Urbanworld Film Festival.
In 2015, Warren was selected as a Shadow Director on ABC's renowned industry showcase, ABC Discovers. In 2018, her short Revelation was selected to show in IFC’s Short Attention Span Cinema Series. Recently, Warren served as the Behind the Scenes DP for two upcoming features: The Last Thing He Wanted, directed by Dee Rees, and Just Mercy, starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx. Warren is currently in development for her own feature film, Expatriates.
